2010 League Information

Last year, the Plazma Sin had a magical season to win the 2nd season of the 2009 Phoenix Hellraisers Flag Football League!! It is now time for the returning season which will boast better competition, lots of fun, and continued league growth!

For those that have never played in the league before, we follow the traditional NGFFL format, playing 7 on 7 flag football. The PHOENIX HELLRAISERS organization will provide the fields (Colter Park), flags, and footballs, so talk to your friends, get excited, and be sure to signup. Be sure to note, league registration closes on Monday, November 30^th, 2009.

Player clinics will be held every Saturday in November at 10:00 AM at Colter Park. Directions to Colter Park can be found here. Clinics will help gauge the ability level of everyone that has registered for the league and will be used to organize the draft, so be sure to attend one of those Saturdays if you did not play in the league last year. This way, each team will be guaranteed a quarterback and it will ensure all teams are competitive. Be sure to note that everyone that comes to the player evaluations or wants to play is guaranteed to be on a team and play in the league.

League play with start December 5^th, 2009 with preseason games. In January, the league starts its regular season with 10 weeks of play and culminating in the tournament on March 13^th, 2010. All league matches will be played at Colter Park, located just north of Camelback Road and 7^th Avenue. A map and detailed directions can be found here.

The registration deadline is Monday, November 30^th, 2009, with an associated players fee of $50 per person due by Monday, November 30^th, 2009. The players fee goes toward the field fees, equipment, league uniforms, and other costs. The registration/player fee may be paid online using PayPal or via check/cash during the player evaluations. Please make all checks payable to the Phoenix Hellraisers.

Along with registration, you will need to fill out the injury release and code of conduct agreement. Please bring these completed forms and the associated players fee to the evaluations, as you will not be able to play if we do not have the appropriate releases forms signed.

2009 Phoenix Hellraiser Flag Football League

The 2009 Phoenix Hellraiser Flag Football League came to a conclusion on Saturday, March 7th, and a new champion was crowned. Congratulations to the Plazma Sin who were able to defeat the BS West Beavers 28-27 in the championship game to take the title.

To get a recap of the weekly action, go here. While the 2009 season has ended, the Hellraisers will continue to play on Saturdays in preparation for national tournaments, including Pride Bowl II in Chicago and Gay Bowl IX in Washington D.C.

2009 Regular Season Standings
